Single Section Homes

Types of Skyline Housing

Single section manufactured homes are built to the same federal standard (HUD code) as multi-section homes.

The Federal Manufactured Home Construction Safety Standards ensures your single section home is a safe and sound investment. As with multi-section homes it regulates the design, construction, structural durability, transportability, fire resistance and energy efficiency of a home. It also prescribes performance standards for the mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems. Single section manufactured homes are built and shipped on metal frames. Single section homes enjoy the same benefits of efficiency and quality through factory assembly as multi-section homes. Single section manufactured homes provide highly affordable housing when compared to conventional construction. Many single section homes are considerably less per square foot than site-built product. While single section homes can be located on private property, many times they are located in manufactured housing developments which boast an array of amenities to enhance your lifestyle.
